We hope we’re wrong, but it looks like the show’s switching into first gear for more slow burn in the coming days and weeks, so we’re settling in for the long haul once again. Looks like we’re going to circle back to some safe storylines and this episode will be the kick off point. Chloe’s still listening when Chelsea is shocked that Billy wants to return to a world where he felt he didn’t belong, and it doesn’t make sense to her.‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers here and we’re set to close out the week with some spoilery goodies to share. Billy’s sorry his announcement came out of nowhere but he had made a commitment to his regular Chancellor Industries job and the podcast was taking away from it. Neither Billy nor Chelsea realizes Chloe was eavesdropping while they were talking and has heard everything they said. The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Chloe Mitchell Was Eavesdropping She doesn’t like it and doesn’t want to host it alone although he offers her to continue it by herself she took the job because he was fun, and he apologizes. Chelsea is blindsided when she wants to talk about a new idea for the podcast and he informs her he’s dumping it to focus on his CEO job. Chloe thinks it’s funny and they laugh about the idea when Billy walks up to talk to Chelsea, Chloe excusing herself for a minute. Chloe tells her to spill, and Chelsea thinks it’s about her new partner Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) she offers to design a dress that gets tighter and more uncomfortable. Y & R Spoilers: It’s A Career Change, All RightĬhloe and Chelsea continue to talk, and Chloe notes what a career change this is for Chelsea and she’s proud of her, but also addresses what she thinks is off. Chloe is happy that Chelsea’s found a place of safety where she can make money after Chelsea broke up their partnership.
But she also speaks of her former lover Billy glowingly, noting that when she feels like she’s about to lose her footing he’s always there.Ĭhelsea continues, telling Chloe how neat it was that he brought her on the podcast after she told him it was boring and he hired her to liven it up. Chelsea tells Chloe about the job, and how she gets negative comments as well as positive ones, and sometimes she feels like she’s walking a tightrope.
As the two best friends with some dysfunction between their talk and catch up, Chelsea talks about being Billy’s co-host of recent on his podcast, “The Grinning Soul”.
